Steep & Deep Touring

The Steep and Deep program is an action-packed 2-day backcountry ski and splitboarding adventure with a focus on searching the South Coast area for the most sought-after steep lines.

Steep & Deep Touring

The Steep & Deep Touring program is an action-packed 2-day backcountry ski and splitboarding adventure with a focus on searching the Sea-t0-Sky area for the most sought-after steep lines. Over the course of the two day program we will choose venues that will be challenging and push your limits.

During our Steep & Deep Touring program, you will receive expert coaching and instruction on steep skiing and splitboarding skills. Learn and refine how to manage various types of terrain, how to asses and enter steep lines, manage sloughs, control your speed on icy snow, and much more. You will not only gain confidence and strengthen your backcountry skiing and boarding technique to tackle steeper and more challenging terrain, but you will be able to approach those narrow gullies and steeper chutes with more control. Those more remote or mountainous lines will become more comfortably achievable.

We run generally run this program in March & April as the weather is more stable and we have a deeper snowpack. Of course we can often accommodate other dates on private programs if that doesn't work for you.

Who’s this trip for:

This program is designed to accommodate a range of skiers and splitboarders, from those just breaking into the steeps to those with many steep lines under their belt. Our guides will aim to provide plenty of challenges for all skiers at every level.
