BSA Safety, a division of BlackSheep Adventure, offers a wide range of training and mountain safety consulting services for all types of industries that work in hard-to-access, remote and/or mountainous terrain. Our team of engineers, certified mountain guides, rescue technicians, emergency medical technicians, avalanche safety technicians and instructors are here to help.

Mountain Safety Training:

BSA Safety offers a wide range of standardized mountian safety training courses as well as customized programs for specific applications or areas. Avalanche Safety & Rescue Training:

We offer a range of avalanche safety training for workers entering avalanche terrain. This can include standardized avalanche safety and rescue training that is non specific or we can also provide training that’s customized to specific sites and activities. Courses include:

  • Basic Avalanche Safety Training (BAS)
  • Advanced Avalanche Safety Training (AAS)
  • Train the Trainer
  • Custom Avalanche Program Training

First Aid Training:

  • Wilderness First Aid (16hrs)
  • Wilderness Advanced First Aid (40hrs)

Commercial Film & Photography:

Shooting in the mountains can present various challenges that are forever changing day-to-day and season-to-season. Hazards can include anything from glaciers, avalanches, weather, wildlife and rockfall, to name a few, and having a plan in place and the right team available can be critical. BSA Safety can help facilitate a safe and efficient shoot by assisting during various aspects as needed. From help with location scouting and planning to onsite first aid and rescue services we’re here to help.
