Squamish Apron Rock Climbing

The iconic Apron is a huge slab of low angle granite that leads partway up the famous Chief in Squamish, BC and offers some moderate and fun rock climbing. At the top of the Apron is an amazing lookout, called the Memorial Ledge, features view of the Howe Sound, Tantalus Range and of course the Squamish valley.

This guided rock climbing adventure features an ascent up one the easier routes on the Apron with one of BlackSheep’s ACMG certified guides. Once reaching the top a short scramble takes you to Memorial Ledge where lunch will be provided. Once you’ve finished eating and taking photos with the world at your feet a short series of rappels takes you back down to the car. A family friendly adventure!

Waiver & Risk Management:

As you know, outdoor activities involve numerous hazards including, but not limited to, avalanches, crevasses, rockfall, slips and falls, equipment failure, poor weather, etc. And while we do our best to anticipate and mitigate these hazards we cannot completely eliminate them. So, as with anything fun, you will be required to sign our Participant Release to take part in one of our courses or trips.
